BVM SEC. 39 REMINISCED THE MISSILE MAN OF INDIA ON HIS DEATH ANNIVERSARY

A heartfelt tribute was paid to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the “Missile Man and the former President of India, on his Death Anniversary at BVM Sec. 39, SCHOOL.

To commemorate his legacy, the school organized a series of engaging activities across all classes centered on Dr. Kalam’s vision of education, science, and patriotism.

Activities Conducted:
- *Classes I–III*: Colouring Activity – Portraits of Dr. Kalam and Rocket Theme, followed by screening of a documentary on his life.
- *Class III*: “Dream Tree” – Children wrote/drew their dreams on paper leaves and pasted them on a chart tree.
- *Classes IV–VI*: Slogan Writing on Education, Science, and Patriotism, alongwith *Storytelling session titled "From Newspaper Boy to President".*
- *Classes VII–VIII*: Quote Writing using Dr. Kalam’s famous quotes, and a Science Model Exhibition featuring Rockets, Satellites, and Renewable Energy models.
- *Classes IX–XII*: Speech by Class IX students and a Panel Discussion on “Youth Can Transform India”.
- A speech on science was delivered by Ms. Anupam Thakur.

Principal, Upasna Modgil remarked, "Dr. Kalam’s life teaches us the power of dreams and hard work. Let us inspire ourselves and everyone around to be curious, patriotic and committed to building a strong nation."
